Broad Function
We are seeking a highly motivated and competent Sr. Executive/Executive who shares our mission of Everything We do is about Caring for and Improving the Lives of Our Patients, Community and Healthcare Family.
The Sr. Executive/Executive will support Woodlands Health (WH) Quality Improvement Strategy. He or she will perform in accordance with organisation or department work plan, goals and budgets in order to enhance organisation excellence and improve patient care.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Specific - Quality Improvement (75%)
- Lead cross functional Quality improvement projects to improve process efficiency, patient safety, experience and clinical outcomes
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the success of improvement initiatives
- Train, coach and mentor multidisciplinary improvement projects team in identifying process inefficiencies, project scoping, goal setting, process mapping, root cause and data analysis, designing efficient workflow and formulate innovative solutions to problems
- Provide support such as facilitation and on the spot training to staff who seek assistance through the WH Ideas Hub (WISH) platform
- Maintain, track and monitor progress and outcomes of improvement projects within WH to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Provide regular progress updates and status reports on initiatives to management, while also escalating challenges and proposed solutions for review and decision-making.
- Organize events such as Quality Day, campaigns, community of practice, and talks to celebrate improvement effort and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Collaborate and support National Healthcare Group (NHG) Group Quality initiatives
- Serve as a change agent to promote an improvement mindset and proliferate improvement knowledge throughout the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Specific - Building Capabilities & Capacity (20%)
- Facilitate Quality Improvement training workshops
- Conduct improvement methodology, tools and techniques workshop
- Support faculty members or external partner to co-create training materials as well as organise improvement methodology, tools and techniques workshop.
- Develop Quality improvement related materials such as e-learn, reference guides, etc
- Track and report Quality related training completion rate against target to management
General (5%)
- Work closely with various functions within department to deliver organisation or taskforce work plan.
- Execute special tasks and events assigned by reporting officer
Job Requirements
Education / Training / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Industrial System Engineering, Nursing, Sciences and etc. (Second Upper Honours and above is preferred).
- Preferably 3 years of related work experience for bachelor's degree holders.
- Sound knowledge in structured improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma with experience in leading or facilitating projects.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified (Preferred)
- Good command of the English language (spoken and written) and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is a must (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
