The Job
- Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day mall operations, ensuring all systems and facilities are functioning efficiently.
- Coordinate and execute maintenance programs to maintain optimal operational levels.
- Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget.
- Administer and oversee maintenance contracts, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and cost efficiency.
- Support the implementation of Asset Enhancement Initiatives, such as tenant renovation and promotional activities.
- Manage the cyclical replacement and enhancement of equipment within the mall, coordinating with the procurement team.
- Liaise with tenants to address feedback, service requests, and operational needs in a timely manner.
- Lead technicians and manage vendor services, ensuring professional standards are met in daily operations.
- Participate in the Company Emergency Response Team as a Site Incident Controller or First Aider.
- Collaborate with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team for the review and approval of work permits (PTWs), risk assessments, and safety audits.
The Talent
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Real Estate, Facilities, Building, or Estate Management.
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working within tight timelines and handling problem-solving efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to work beyond standard hours and adapt to potential lateral role transitions between asset classes based on business needs.
