We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our elite team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within the F&B industry, demonstrating an exceptional ability to manage both accounts receivable and accounts payable. This role is integral to our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all financial regulations, managing budgets, optimising financial processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payment of invoices and collection of dues.
- Cost Control: Develop and implement robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with industry standards.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with the F&B operations and Management teams to ensure alignment between financial objectives and business goals, providing financial guidance on new initiatives, pricing strategies, and cost management.
- Taxation and Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax laws, including GST and corporate tax filings. Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and ensure efficient financial management.
- Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes to ensure accurate inventory management and reporting.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular internal bar and kitchen audits to prevent pilferages and wastages.
- Manage and reconcile Point of Sale (POS) system transactions, ensuring smooth integration with accounting and CRM systems.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the F&B or hospitality management is a significant advantage, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Experience in conducting internal auditings and stock take
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and best practices
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, attention to details with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
