Senior Finance Executive

The Senior Finance Executive plays a key role in supporting the Finance department by assisting in the execution of its core functions and responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire full spectrum of accounting function, including GL, AP, and AR.
• Perform the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements.
• Liaise with external auditors for the annual audit process to ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform analysis and manage yearly corporate tax and GST submissions.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, implementing effective accounts receivable collection strategies to improve cash flow, and collaborating with BD team to reduce aged past dues.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing, accounting or cost accounting or cost control.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, cost drivers, cost accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in accounting software Microsoft Excel, Xero and SAP system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
