The Role:

As the Senior Finance Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the organization as they expand into new markets and establish additional entities. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in navigating complex financial landscapes, including mergers, acquisitions, and investor relations. You will be instrumental in shaping the company's financial direction, providing critical insights to the executive team, and ensuring robust governance across all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial strategy and operations during the company's rapid expansion, including setting up new entities and managing complex transactions.
• Oversee high-impact business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and other significant financial events.
• Act as the main financial point of contact for investors, while working closely with senior leadership to provide financial partnership and guidance.
• Create financial forecasts that will guide strategic decision-making and track progress toward key milestones.
• Regularly analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to the executive team to ensure the company remains on track with its growth objectives.
• Identify potential financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect the organization's financial integrity and reputation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing finance team, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement.
• Take responsibility for group consolidation, including preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensuring compliance with SFRS/IFRS standards.
• Evaluate and refine the financial closing process, driving efficiency and automation in reporting.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes and accurate preparation of financial statements.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in finance leadership roles within high-growth environments. You will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex financial operations, ideally within fintech or related industries. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (SFRS/IFRS) and experience with ERP systems like Oracle are essential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/CA qualified.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in group financial consolidation and financial leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in SFRS/IFRS financial standards and governance frameworks.
• Proven experience in managing high-stakes business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or similar) and financial automation processes.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
