Responsibility:
. Prepare budgets and forecasts based on market trends, company goals, and historical data.
. Analyze financial reports to assess profitability and areas for cost reduction.
. Ensure proper allocation of resources to various departments.
. Prepare monthly financial statements, revaluation tasks, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for entities within the group.
. Ensure timely month-end closing and provide necessary schedules as required.
. Ensure the timely completion of the yearly financial audit.
. Handle GST-related matters, including preparation and submission of returns to IRAS.
. Manage cash flow to ensure the company meets all its financial obligations.
. Oversee credit control and collections to optimize working capital.
. Oversee the finance team, provide guidance, and ensure that financial processes and policies are followed.
. Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to develop strategies for pricing, promotions, and financing options that drive revenue.
. Handle any additional accounting functions or projects as assigned by management.
Requirement:
. Minimum ACCA/Degree or professional qualification.
. Knowledge in Accounting, Tax.
. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience ideally in the automotive industry with Audit experience will be advantageous.
. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
. Manage cash flow and liaise with banks for fund transfers.
. Prepare financial reports and ensure timely audits.
. Lead and manage the finance team.
. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Autoline.
. Experience in financial planning and forecasting.
