Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. Prior experience with Big Four accounting firms and Web3 industry exposure will be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business strategies.
• Provide actionable insights through variance analysis, KPI tracking, and financial reports.
• Prepare detailed financial projections, working closely with business units to align financial goals with operations.

1. Accounting and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely financial reporting.
• Lead external audits and liaise with auditors to meet all statutory requirements.

1. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

• Monitor and optimize cash flow, ensuring the availability of funds for business operations and investments.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize funding and investment opportunities.

1. Tax and Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and transfer pricing.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes, ensuring the company's financial activities adhere to evolving requirements.

1. Risk Management and Internal Controls:

• Develop and implement robust internal control frameworks to minimize financial risks.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to safeguard financial assets.

1. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights to support business decisions.

1. Strategic Finance and Web3 Expertise:

• Provide strategic financial input to Web3-related initiatives and business models (e.g., cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance).
• Leverage experience with Web3 technologies to advise on financial opportunities and risks in the blockchain ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
• CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Big Four accounting firm experience is highly preferred.
• Web3 industry knowledge and experience with blockchain technologies or decentralized finance (DeFi) are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and financial regulatory frameworks.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
