Role and Responsibilities:
Dealing with Transactions
Provide critical analytical and transactional support to acquisitions, fund managers, and asset managers for a myriad of transactions: acquisitions, dispositions, restructuring, and financing/refinancing.
Participate in capital structuring and tax planning for acquisitions & restructuring.
Review FDD and tax DD reports, SPA review, NAV negotiation, and other finance-related transaction documents.
Coordinate with accounting service providers, auditors, tax agents, and other service providers.
Prepare CP/CS documents for financing purposes while liaising with the seller and banks on finance-related questions.
Corporate Finance and Reporting
Maintain accounting records for investment holding entities on a regular basis.
Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of group reporting.
Liaise with external audit process, managing relationships with auditors effectively.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting to safeguard company assets.
Fund Operations
Oversee the financial operations of investment funds, including fund accounting, valuation, and reporting.
Guarantee accurate and timely reporting to investors.
Manage relationships with fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers, ensuring efficient fund operations.
Implement best practices in fund operations to improve efficiency and control.
Strategic Initiatives
Contribute to strategic planning and the development of financial strategies.
Provide valuable insights and recommendations based on thorough financial analysis and projections.
Participate in special projects and initiatives, contributing to the company's growth and adaptation to market changes.
What Were Looking For:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance related; CA/ACCA/CPA qualified.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting, ideally starting their career in a Big 4 firm, and have no more than 15 years total experience.
Proficiency in Business English.
Experience working in the logistics industry and investment funds background.
Willingness for regular travel to India.
A hands-on approach and readiness to shape the role from the beginning.
