Responsibilities:
Provide analytical support and relevant financial information in business decision-making, commercial strategies and ROIs on commercial opportunities
Achieve proper planning and control to support Divisional responsibilities and requirements, estimate all financial metrics and drive variance analysis
Collect and collate data from APAC countries and Regions; and develop Financial Plan and other forecasts for the Area ensuring reasonableness on an absolute, as well as performance basis
Ensure financial requirements are met by effectively working within the corporation and striving for transparency, highlighting risks as well as opportunities
Create Plans, forecasts (LBEs) and prepare consolidations for PL and Balance Sheet for APAC
Meet Plans and LBEs timeline for consolidation and facilitate management review and decision-making
Manages the planning and financial processes (both PL and Balance Sheet); implements changes as necessary and with a continuous goal of understanding all components of the countries and regions
Work with local CFS/IFO/Hub and provide support for all Statutory requirements for all local entities for month-end closing, audit entity plan, cost center review, credit review, annual Transfer Price Reviewetc
South Asia budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking and variance analysis
Service PL budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking and variance analysis
Alinity status tracking for shipment, TOR and routine.
Balance Sheet budgeting, forecasting and actuals tracking. Prepare BS schedules and variance analysis.
Fixed asset (including service equipment) tracking, amortization and asset roll forward on a monthly basis
Preparation of monthly reports (Sales, PL, BS, Instrument placement, headcount, capital authorization)
Consolidation uploads PL and BS (uploads) and Actuals (downloads)
Other Ad Hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Minimum 8-10 years of experience with 4-6 years focus on Financial Planning and Analysis, preferably within healthcare/pharma/medical device industry
Experience in budgeting & forecasting is preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous, analytical, self-starter and self-motivated team player
Ability to be independent and strive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
