In the same spirit, Anywr are currently recruiting an Senior Firmware Engineer M/F for one of our clients, a global leader in the gaming and esports equipment, to join their team in Singapore.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of the tech stack and begin building and debugging firmware.
- Deliver a new feature for the company's gaming keyboards or mice.
- Scale the firmware platform to support millions of users.
- Innovate and introduce new features.
- Test and provide feedback on upcoming, unreleased hardware.
- Identify new development opportunities and contribute significantly to firmware team and product growth.
- Refactor code to ensure a clean, maintainable design with comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with firmware teams to promote best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
Your profile:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in firmware development.
- A degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Develop robust and efficient firmware in C for embedded systems.
- Design and implement bare-metal firmware for ARM Cortex-M platforms.
- Work with GCC and Make for efficient build processes.
- Strong understanding of the USB HID standard.
- Apply best practices in version control systems, particularly using Git.
- Utilize hardware debugging tools such as logic analyzers, multimeters, and programmers to troubleshoot and optimize firmware.
- Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including firmware specifications.
- A desire to mentor and elevate fellow engineers
- Eagerness to continuously learn and excel in the craft of firmware engineering
