Senior Firmware Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer of gaming peripherals and accessories are searching for a Senior Firmware Engineer to help drive their software platform and the next generation of gaming gear. About the Role: As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing firmware for various gaming peripherals and accessories, focusing on performance, reliability, and seamless user experience. You'll collaborate with multiple teams, mentor other engineers, and deliver projects that will impact millions of users in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop robust, efficient firmware in C for embedded systems.
• Design and implement firmware for ARM Cortex-M platforms in a bare-metal environment.
• Work closely with product teams to add innovative features to our peripherals.
• Debug and optimize firmware using hardware tools like logic analyzers and multimeters.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, covering specifications and best practices.
• Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented engineering culture.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in firmware or embedded development.
• Proficiency in C programming, experience with ARM Cortex-M, and knowledge of USB HID standards.
• Skilled with GCC, Make, Git, and hardware debugging tools.
• Team-oriented, eager to learn and share knowledge, with a commitment to high-quality, tested code.
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), CMake, and a passion for gaming hardware
