Role Overview:
We seek a skilled Desktop Developer with expertise in Electron.js to join our talented team at Vama. As a Desktop Developer, you will be vital in crafting and optimizing our cross-platform desktop applications. You will focus on building a seamless and user-friendly chat interface, addressing performance bottlenecks, and integrating back-end technologies to ensure a robust and efficient application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage your proven expertise in Electron.js to build and maintain cross-platform desktop applications aligned with Vama's innovative vision.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks within Electron.js applications to deliver optimal user experiences.
- Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including modern frameworks like React, to design engaging and responsive user interfaces.
- Apply strong UI/UX principles to design visually appealing and user-friendly chat interfaces that enhance the overall user experience on the Vama platform.
- Seamlessly integrate back-end technologies with Electron.js applications, demonstrating a clear understanding of RESTful APIs and facilitating data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
- Implement robust data storage solutions and synchronization mechanisms to ensure smooth transitions between online and offline modes, reflecting Vama's commitment to seamless user interactions.
- Showcase a deep understanding of real-time event handling and proficiency in working with WebSockets to enable responsive and interactive features on the Vama platform.
Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience developing web applications using React or 2 years developing Desktop applications using Electron.js.
- Proven expertise in Electron.js and a track record of building cross-platform desktop applications.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including modern frameworks like React.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with Vama's design philosophy.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies and experience seamlessly integrating them with Electron.js applications.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and adeptness in facilitating data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
- Extensive experience implementing data storage and synchronization for offline and online modes, ensuring a seamless user experience.
