Position Overview
The Senior/Graphic Designer is responsible for creative conceptualisation of marketing collaterals requested by all departments such as Sales & Catering, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Spa and Residences assist with in-house photography and videography creation updating and maintenance of photo library and videos as well as ad-hoc projects as directed by the Director of Marketing Communications. The invidividual will assist in the day-to-day administrative duties pertaining to the line of work, liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate production of collaterals, marketing materials, etc.
The Role
Deliver Design Output
- Support and assist the Marcom Director in maintaining a healthy relationship with internal and external guests
- Responsible for graphic design and direction, seeing all projects through from conceptualisation, design, production, completion and delivery (Sales & Marketing, F&B, Hotel, Spa & Residences).
- Work collaboratively with the marketing and creative teams from the property and corporate office on all creative projects
- Act as the brand custodian and adhere to Capella's brand identity standards and guidelines
- Creation of in-house photography and videography assets and/or supervision of photoshoots with hired photographers/videographers
- Manage cost and timelines for each creative or design project
- Present design concept and work to stakeholders for review and final approval. Ensure proper and timely display and distribution of printed materials to maximise awareness of planned promotions and events
- Plan concepts by studying information and materials, and doing research for creative ideation.
- Coordinate and liaise with the Purchasing department and external printing companies to ensure that cost and quality efficiency
- Maintain and improve technical knowledge and be updated with tech developments and design trends
Talent Profile
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of design experience, preferably in a design or advertising agency or in-house creative/marketing department
- Degree or diploma in graphic design, visual communications or a related field
- Passionate creative designer with strong art skills. Knowledge of printing processes, specs, paper, colour, finishing is preferred
- Advanced competencies in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office
