Summary
Act as a strategic HR business partner to the Senior Management leaders; responsible for all HR matters for Singapore-based employees. The successful incumbent will be responsible for supporting and delivering effective people-based solutions across the business to build a high-performance organisation by empowering and engaging our employees. Furthermore the role will have a focus on Organisational Development and efficiency across the organisation, including Headcount Management.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his/her superior:
Confidently partner with the businesses to identify their needs in all areas of HR, implementing initiatives that support the business strategies
Build relationships with business unit heads to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution
Act as a proactive business partner on various HR functions including, but not limited to strategic workforce planning, career planning, performance management, rewards and recognition, employee relations, engagement, leadership, organizational development and change management
Coach, support, mentor and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices, provide advice and guidance on complex HR issues in order to minimize risk and financial exposure
Work alongside other HR specialist teams to support the delivery of their projects in HR Operations, Employee Lifecycle (Talent Acquisition & Employee Branding, Learning & Development, Culture & Engagement), Compensation & Benefits, and HR Systems
Ensure HR support to all Singapore-based employees in application of HR policies and practices, as well as projects from HR Operations, Employee Lifecycle, Compensation & Benefits and HR Systems. This includes advising the Singapore Social Committee and ensuring implementation of local staff engagement agenda
Lead OD initiatives and efficiency related projects within the HR scope.
Participate or lead various assigned HR projects
What you'll need
At least 10 years experience in HR business partner or generalist experience supporting business leaders
Vibrant, motivated people-person with very strong communication skills, demonstrating great judgement and initiative
A confident business partner with the ability to build and maintain constant rapport with the business at a strategic level and be hands-on when required. Ability to work with colleagues at all levels and from various nationalities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced company where leading and adapting to change is part of our DNA
Desire for continuous improvement with a problem-solving attitude
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail is required, Excel skills are strongly advantageous, experience with SAP HR or Success Factors are also beneficial
Fluent English is essential, additional languages may be beneficial
