Job Title : Senior Analyst, Financial Crime Insights & Analytics
Location: Bangalore
Business & Team:
The role sits within CDAO team and would lead the COO- AI & Analytics enablement COE
The COO- AI & Analytics enablement COE has the responsibility for helping accelerate AI & analytics capability, delivery and adoption across operations teams.
Impact & contribution:
The Senior Analyst, is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the analytics capability in the CoE team, which will deliver actionable insights for the COO area. This role will also be supporting the operations framework.
This will mean working closely with our customers, stakeholders and colleagues. As a result, you will be required to forge strong relationships with business stakeholders and other COO teams to drive outcomes
Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyse data and interpret results including identifying trends or patterns in complex data sets using data visualization
Provide in depth analytics on financial crime metrics and trends to understand the impact on Retail Banking
Apply your understanding of data to produce action-oriented insights to enhance the management of operations across the Retail Bank
Assist in the exploration and interrogation of new sources of data
Act as an internal consultant to our key stakeholders, developing and maintaining strong relationships through effective communication of analytics for data-driven decision making
Present technical information in a way that will be understood by management and key stakeholders
Prioritise and manage data and analytics deliverables according to specified timeframes
Support the identification and definition of business needs and problems relating to financial crime
Documenting of operational and data processes
Gap analysis and risk identification
Support the broader functions of the COO team through short to medium term duties
Develop relationships with members of the operations community, as well as other internal stakeholders.

Essential Skills:
At least 7 years experience in an analytics function;
Ability to translate data analytics into commercial insights;
Superior problem-solving skills with an eye for detail;
Sound written and verbal communication;
Good commercial acumen with the ability to prioritise work and resources, keeping business objectives at the forefront of the decision making process;
Dynamic, service oriented, and collaborative with the ability to work with a wide range of people;
High degree of initiative, engagement and professionalism;
Flexible and adaptable, to a fast-paced changing environment;
Experience in gathering and interpreting requirements, documentation and gap analysis;
Advanced Excel & SQL skills;
Experience in working in cloud environment
Good understanding of machine learning concepts
Knowledge of analytical software tools and technology such as Teradata, R, SAS, SPSS, Knime, Hadoop, Python
Qualifications: B.E/ B.Tech Engineering Degree
