Senior/Lead Engineer (OSS platform/Telco)

Job Description

Purpose

. The Engineer is responsible to support daily operations of OSS systems to meet business and network objectives and improve service quality and operational efficiency.

. Work closely with different stakeholders to facilitate the project implementation and maintenance of existing or new software solutions.

. The individual in this role must support systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) and participates in all software development lifecycle phases.

. Some of the unique challenges this position will face include configuration management, process/workflow definition, customization, system/data migration and maintenance of systems.

Qualifications

• At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Telecom OSS, application development implementation, design solutions or maintenance of software applications and system platforms
• A diploma/degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• Experience in VMware and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Others) and RedHat Openshift technologies
• Administration of Servers/Router/Switch experience
• Proficiency with an application/web server under Windows/UNIX/Linux environments
• Knowledge in network operation workflow
