This role is to safeguard SIM Group's legal rights and interests in its business operations and strategy.
Accountabilities
- Assist the General Counsel in rendering legal advice to the Group.
- Draft, review and/or negotiate agreements, MOUs and other documents.
- Assist with contract templates such as tender documents.
- Assist with dispute resolution.
- Manage and work with external lawyers and other professionals.
- Assist with Personal Data protection and compliance for the Group.
- Preparation of reports, presentations and policies for the Legal Department.
- Conduct training for internal stakeholders.
- Assist with reasonable tasks that the legal division undertakes.
Job Requirements
- LLB (Hons) from a Commonwealth University
- 3 - 5 years PQE in a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel
Advantageous
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore or similar qualification.
- Familiarity with Singapore's personal data legislation and compliance.
Skills
- Good English writing and communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
