Senior Legal Counsel (Renewables, Alternative Energy Development Company)

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Legal Counsel to join their team. This is a pivotal newly created role that offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes legal matters within a multinational corporate environment, particularly in major gas/LNG and renewable energy EPC projects, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Project finance, JVAs and EPC contracts.

The successful candidate will provide legal advice throughout project lifecycles, manage disputes, and contribute to general corporate legal matters. You will also provide expert legal advice, negotiation support, and oversight in drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents, including project finance agreements, contracts, and project documentation.

Requirements:

• LLB (Hons), admitted to the Singapore Bar or Commonwealth Jurisdictions
• At least 12 to 15 years PQE or of relevant experience preferably experience in Solar Renewable projects, EPC and Project finance, EPCC.
• Prior or current industry experience in large industrial groups or Petrochemicals, O&G industries is an advantage
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive team player attitude, capable of working independently and quickly understanding various businesses.
