Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Leverage your technical, operational and safety expertise to enhance risk selection capabilities
• Work closely with our claims and underwriting teams and our shipowner members to minimise claim numbers
• Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and members
• Lead impactful projects and deliver engaging training
• Forge strong relationships and build trust across the business and within the maritime industry
• Shape and implement strategies to manage and mitigate risks
• Produce safety articles and presentations for members

Requirements:

• COC 1 holder with senior deck experience as a marine superintendent.
• Shore side experience in ship management or survey company
• Comfortable speaking in public
• Willing to travel
• Proactive, flexible and able to work autonomously
• IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office 365
