Senior Manager, Broking

What the day will look like
Broking Delivery
Responsible for broking negotiations, remarketing exercises and interaction with Insurers for any go-to-market activities.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of broking deliverables to Client Servicing Team
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of broking deliverables to Insurers
Support colleagues within the unit with a keen sense of broking initiatives
Foster partnership across Broking Team, Client Servicing team to provide a seamless experience for Clients
Provide technical advisory and advice to Client Servicing team on broking related matters
Act as the channel between insurers and Client Servicing team, imparting latest changes and capabilities of insurers to Client Servicing team
Create and maintain strong relationships with key external vendors including Insurers and specialty providers
Ensure strong collaboration between Client Servicing Team and the rest of the functional teams in delivering distinctive client value
Develops and manages client retention and/or growth strategies to ensure revenue and profitability / client sustainability agenda are met
Broking Excellence
Ensure Health Solutions clients coverages are reviewed in detail and map in accordance to the different client categories
Engage/Involve in joint meetings with Client Servicing team for Renewal Review with Strategic/Top 20 clients.
Produce and efficiently execute a Broking Calendars indicating all remarketing exercise for all clients
Full Compliance of Aon Brokers Guide
Proactive Insurer Collaboration with dedicated insurer
Insurer Content Management : Timely update of Slips , product updates
Proactive and be open and adaptable to changes
Mentor / Coach / Guide : Provide feedback to Junior brokers (include peer review of Junior brokers work)
Undertake any other initiatives and ad-hoc projects assigned
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Degree or Diploma from a recognised university or polytechnic
Minimum regulatory requirements (BCP, PGI. CommGI, HI, M5, M9) for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS
More than 5 years of related experience
In-depth knowledge of the overall employee benefits program (standard and custom), all funding mechanisms, broking processes, market segments and marketplaces.
Good skills on MS systems including Word, Excel, Power-point required
Has a keen sense of responsibility, good communicator with a keen self-awareness, social & emotional intelligence, embraces DE&I collaborative, accountability, flexibility and consistency to lead colleagues across all functions to focus on activities that will lead to business results and growth.
Ability to embrace and execute organizational changes
Senior stakeholders/ C-suite management skills
Align and work to meet the department/ organizational visions and goals
Guide others in resolving complex issues based on independent discretion and judgement to determine appropriate solutions and process
