Company Information

Our client is a global service provider of essential business services to help companies and private capital funds grow across the entire business and investment lifecycle. They are looking to expand their corporate secretarial team in Singapore with presence globally.

Position Summary

  • This role plays a crucial part in leading and mentoring a team, supporting the Board of Directors and executive management team by managing board meetings, maintaining corporate records, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and act as advisor to clients on corporate secretarial matters. This is a full-time and permanent position based in Singapore and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to their Corporate Secretarial function and its growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the full spectrum of company secretarial duties (both listed and non-listed companies).
  • Act as advisor to clients on corporate secretarial matters.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Lead and mentor the corporate secretariat team.
  • Provide good client service, ensuring clients receive prompt responses to requests and queries.
  • Attend board/committee meetings and record meeting minutes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Degree / Advanced Diploma / Diploma / Graduate of ICSA or currently pursuing ICSA course.
  • At least 8-9 years of relevant working experience in corporate secretarial firms, legal firms and public listed companies.
  • Good understanding of the Singapore Companies Act and SGX Listing Rules.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
