Our client is one of the prominent organisation in the global Financial industry with proven track record and stable growth in Asia. Now, it is looking to expand is looking to expand its Data Engineering team in Singapore.
Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated
Senior Manager (
Data Engineering) with a strong background in financial services, preferably within banking. You will be technical hands-on with the ability to drive the strategy and potentially building a team responsible for the design, development, and management of scalable data systems and platforms that power business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning capabilities across the organization.
Requirement:
- Experience: Degree holder with over 15 years of experience with strong technical and management background in data engineering. Prior experience working in a financial institution or banking sector
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency with data engineering technologies and tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Airflow, etc.).
- Expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data platforms.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with financial data systems, risk management, or trading data is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading and managing cross-functional teams, with strong project management skills.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
