As part of the Group Talent, Leadership, Learning and Culture function, the role reports into the Group Head of Learning, and supports the implementation of Group Learning Strategy and roadmap in service of business goals and transformation, while fostering culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organisation.
The role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive learning programs that align with organisation and business goals, including assessing learning needs, designing curriculum and ensuring the effectiveness of learning initiatives across the organisation. The role is also responsible for facilitating the growth and development of the People Manager segment across the group through individual, cohort-based or team-based development approaches. The Learning practitioner will be well-versed in learning & development strategy, design and roll out of managerial capability building programs, and expertise in end-to-end learning value chain (needs assessment, design, delivery, implementation, effectiveness).
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Development
- Design and deploy learning & development solutions that are aligned with organizational needs and enable modern learner experience
- Conduct and deploy approach for enterprise-wide leadership and functional learning needs analysis
- Develop, innovate and implement a diverse learning portfolio, utilizing a blend of learning methodologies (e.g eLearning, bitesize, blended learning, instructor-led training, coaching & mentoring etc.,)
- Provide advisory & partner with functions/business on technical learning implementation
- Craft & deliver managerial development programs/roadmap across People Managers segmentation across the organisation, aiming at nurturing highly effective leadership.
Learning Excellence
- Ensure Group Learning Governance is well established & adhered (including learning standards, policies, compliance/mandatory learning process, and overall framework) to drive consistent learner experience, ensure high impact learning and learner engagement.
- Support skills framework implementation along with career development management to ensure timely organizational need on right skillset (re-skill/upskill)
- Ensure efficient deployment of L&D initiatives and management of L&D budget
- Measure and review the effectiveness of the implemented development programs on capabilities and propose intervention plans for continuous improvement
- Define instructional design guidelines for trainings
- Define guidelines for selection of internal trainers and external vendors
- Research and integrate market-leading practices in learning & development to maintain a competitive edge.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of People Manager capability initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Learning Technology & Enablement
- Review technologies and platforms for L&D optimising learning management system for enterprise-wide usage, meeting business requirements and enabling learning in the flow of work
- Partner with HR Operations, Tech and Insights to drive Group Learning dashboard and supporting the tiered service delivery model for Group Learning.
