Reporting to the Chief Human Resource Officer, you will partner leadership and line managers to provide guidance and solutions in day-to-day people matters and in achieving the long-term goals and objectives of NUHS, Alexandra Hospital and Human Resources. You will also be responsible to lead and develop strategies that strengthen employee-employer relationships, foster a strong organizational culture, and create a healthy work environment based on mutual respect, trust, and appreciation
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
Business Support
- Build relationship with stakeholders as a trusted HR partner through thoughtful HR solutions to the business needs. Coach and develop the business leadership team to drive positive changes in people management, and advise on manpower strategies and solutions.
- Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, performance management, manpower planning, recruitment and rewards strategies.
- Work with Centre of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives.
- Drive people engagement, build morale, improve workplace relationships and boost productivity and retention. Performance and Development
- Partner with leaders for identification of successors and talents for business-critical roles and organization's talent profiles.
- Facilitate performance moderation and discussions with leadership. Workplace Relations
- Lead in AH Industrial Relations and Employee Relations matters and develop a positive working relationship with the union.
- Guide senior leaders and HR team members in handling complex performance and disciplinary matters.
- Lead and undertake complex investigations when required, collaborating with legal and other teams as necessary.
- Guide peers and team members in conflict resolutions and grievance handling processes.
- Facilitate negotiation, conflict resolution, and grievance meetings with stakeholders to achieve mutually agreed outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree from an established university in Human Resource or Business Management related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of HR experience.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills to engage staff of all levels.
- Strong leadership capability, people developer.
