About the Client:
Our client, a leading player in the energy sector, is known for its commitment to innovation and sustainability in Asia's energy markets. They are now seeking a high-caliber Senior Manager, M&A to join the in-house M&A function covering APAC market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Evaluation & Execution: Identification, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities in the APAC energy sector, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Due Diligence Coordination: Oversee due diligence processes with external advisors on financial, tax, legal, and technical aspects.
- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Develop and review financial models for valuation, debt sizing, and scenario analyses, ensuring data-driven investment decisions.
- Investment Recommendations: Present and recommend investment opportunities to senior management and deliver presentations to the board.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics; CFA is preferred.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in investment management or corporate finance within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors. China market knowledge preferred.
- Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and stakeholder engagement; proficiency in Mandarin and English is preferred.
