This role p rovides leadership to both Clinician Scientist Academy (CS Academy) and Research Support Unit (RSU) to build and support a community of clinician-scientists in NUHS. The role will oversee the administrative matters involve in running of both units and organisation of workshops, programmes, grants and engagement sessions.
Job Responsibilities
Administration Lead for CS Academy and Research Support unit and ensure smooth running of both units
- Overseas budget and ensure expenses abide with policies and terms & conditions of budget award. Project budget every FY
- Mentor CS Academy Staff and ensure all tasks performed well within timeline
- Support development of content and presentation materials for reporting to key stakeholders.
- Provide stakeholders with list of CS and CS numbers every quarter
Successful organisation of CS Academy events
Conduct workshops and engagement sessions according to schedule with positive feedback from CS.
Proper administration and management of CS Exxon Mobil Fellowship, NUHS Clinician Scientist Programme and research collaborative grant
Ensure all grant calls are efficiently administered by staff according to timeline. Oversight on proper management of all grants
Support NUHS CS in their CS journey
Provide platform to create an exciting ecosystem for research among clinicians in NUHS
Requirements
- Good Class Honours Degree, preferably in the medical, biological or life sciences
- Minimum 15 years working experience
- Experience in project management and developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Experience in managing a team including the management of administrative matters such as HR and Finance.
- Experience in organizing and conducting educational events.
- Possesses good written and verbal communication skills.
- An adaptable team player with good interpersonal skills. Able to work well with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Well-organized and meticulous at work.
- Good in time management and able to align with team members to adhere to common working timeframes.
