Key Responsibilities
Responsible for Risk Management and Governance including the adequacy and effectiveness of controls for Energy & Commercial Business Unit
Preparation of Monthly Commodity Reports & Monitoring of Market risk Limits across Steam / Gas / Power
Evaluate hedging strategies employed by commercial team, pricing exposures, P&L generated and the key drivers of value generation.
Monitoring Risk Assessment and Control Effectiveness for Energy & Commercial and Reporting summary outcomes as part of quarterly IAF reporting for E&C
Lead ad-hoc projects and process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree qualified in Business, Finance or Accounting. At least 10 years of relevant experience
Hands-on experience and technical knowledge and experience in managing commodity risk exposure including.
Daily measurement, monitoring, control and reporting of market risk, with relevant understanding of the risk drivers, attribution analysis and monitoring of limits for timely escalation.
Provide consulting advice on potential revenue / supply contracts.
Support Counterparty Risk Assessment and Monitoring of Credit Risk Limits
