Senior Mechanical Engineer (Marine - Static & Rotating)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Project Lead in day-to-day operations
• Ensure tasks related to mechanical discipline are carried out and delivered with quality and on schedule
• Review projects design and standards
• Conduct daily project report for assigned discipline
• Work closely with engineering vendor on vessel construction deliverables
• Review calculations & specification from supplier drawings
• Work closely with the Yard Project Management Team on project progress

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in vessel machinery and piping systems
• At least 5 years in the marine & offshore industry
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and AVEVA
• Familiar with Class rules, codes and regulations
• Familiar with the calculations for mechanical and piping design
