Senior MEP Engineer (Architectural and Construction)

Roles & Responsibilities

. Responsible for executing the company projects in mechanical & electrical works in building construction which covers:

. Review project specifications and technical clarifications

. Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings.

. Responsible for carrying out M&E technical meetings and resolving technical issues with record.

. Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies

. Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation

. Supervise and assist the M & E works and coordinate with project teams, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters

. Ensure timely and smooth progress of works

. Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety & environmental regulations are complied with

. Identify discrepancies between M&E, Structural, ID, Architectural and in house project teams provisions

. Work closely with the in-house teams, consultants, and subcontractors on technical and drawing matters.

. Carry out inspection of MEP works prior to concreting or subsequent construction works.

. Compliance with all necessary standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations

. Oversee all related M&E issues on site

Requirements

. Minimum 10 years of experience as M&E Engineer in construction related field

. Possess a degree from universities in mechanical or electrical engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineer Board to be overall in charge of all M&E trades

. Possess strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experiences.

. Use of Autocad/BIM Revit would be an advantage

. Proficient in using Microsoft Office

. Good communicative skills with bilingual, able to interact with people of all levels and China counterpart
