Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international metal producer who have a trading arm based in Singapore, who looking to expand their commercial team with a Senior Metal Trader.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Source and sell physical commodities in APAC.
• Build and nurture customer and supplier relationships whilst also negotiating logistics and financing with suppliers.
• Manage physical risk positions.
• Attend client meetings and industry events (20-40% travel).
• Develop commercial proposals considering competition and market dynamics and make informed decisions based on this.
• Reports to Commercial Trading Director.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum 5 years physical trading experience; 8 years preferred: Experience in base metals / ferroalloys.
• Must have a transferable book.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of metals trading and hedging
• To be located in Singapore or want to relocate.
