Senior Network Engineer (CCNP)

Responsibilities

. Design, plan and implement network infrastructure to meet the organization's business needs

. Install, configure and maintain servers, storage devices, and other hardware and software systems

. Manage the organization's backup and disaster recovery systems and procedures

. Monitor and maintain network performance and security, including firewalls, switches, routers etc.

. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for IT infrastructure, such as OSPAR

. Manage the deployment and maintenance of virtualization and cloud technologies, such as VMware, Azure etc.

. Work with vendors and IT team to resolve complex issues and implement new solutions

. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the reliability and security of the IT infrastructure

. Train and mentor IT staff and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in IT with proven experience in IT infrastructure management and engineering

. Strong knowledge of Network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and switches

. Proficiency in server and storage hardware, including Dell, HP

. Knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud technologies, such as VMware, AWS, and Azure

. Possess relevant certification such as CCNP

. Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery systems and procedures

. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment

. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

. Experience with ITIL and Agile methodologies is a plus.
