A top FinTech company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in advancing one of the world's largest financial networks, managing a wide array of critical services. **Responsibilities:**
- Design, deploy, support, and maintain a diverse vendor network infrastructure.
- Adhere to operational policies and procedures, and promote compliance.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure safe, effective, and efficient changes to the network infrastructure.
- Help develop policies and procedures for network infrastructure maintenance.
- Lead incident investigations, diagnosis, and service restoration, prioritizing incident resolution.
- Offer consultation in areas of expertise, including troubleshooting, design, onboarding, risk mitigation, and operational improvement.
- Serve as an informal trainer for Level II staff, fostering skill development through support and guidance.
Experience
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and other networking equipment and their configurations.
- Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, ISIS, and OSPF.
- Extensive expertise in MPLS and Traffic Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in network support and troubleshooting, with a solid background in designing and implementing complex networks.
- Strong understanding of network management, security, and monitoring.
- Advanced experience with multicast in both switched and routed networks.
- Expert-level network certifications, such as CCIE or JNCIE.
- Advanced certifications in F5, Checkpoint, or Palo Alto are preferred.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and Unix/Linux system administration is a plus.
- Skilled in running and analyzing sniffer traces with a deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
- Ability to comprehend complex architectural concepts.In-depth knowledge of switch and router hardware.
