As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning and scheduling of infrastructure project. You will be responsible for ensuring that project are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your expertise in project management, resource allocation, and risk management will be essential in driving project success and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software (Primavera P6).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identify deviations from plans, and propose corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal project execution and cost control.
- Prepare and present reports, progress updates, and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead planning meetings and facilitate discussions to resolve issues and drive project objectives forward.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience (10 years) as a Planning Engineer in the infrastructure sector, with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects. Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6) and other relevant tools.
