Work Location: Loyang (but first 6 months training will be at Shipyard Crescent)
Working hours: 7.30am to 4.30pm (Mon to Fri) 7.30am to 11am (Sat)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring highest possible uptime and availability for mechanical equipment in the scrap processing plant.
- Responsible for reliability is highest possible and where needed facilities / perform root cause investigations to increase reliability and general performance of equipment.
- Ensure incident free and reliable operation, including timely and proper maintenance of systems.
- Responsible for implementing Maintenance Excellence by aligning with International Best Practice on mechanical equipment.
- Ensure future maintenance activities are proactively planned, prepared
- Ensure technical, environmental and safety aspects in all matters is assessed in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- At least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required knowledge: hydraulic system, rotating parts, PLC system, Conveyor belts
- Specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent is a plus.
