As the champion for labour movement (LM), NTUC-ARU success is highly dependent on us having the right talent to advance our LM cause. We are constantly looking at effective ways to better manage our workforce given the economic volatility and ever-changing workforce landscape.
As part of the Communications Strategy team, you will strengthen the LM narrative, and develop the communications and engagement strategies on NTUC branded content. This includes an integrated campaign strategy for NTUC on effective platforms to amplify desired outcomes of the Workers Compact, which requires a good understanding of ground ops.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement brand narrative and integrated communication strategies that align with NTUC's purpose, vision and priorities to promote the brand, product and services. This includes identifying target audiences, crafting key messages and distributing content via appropriate channels to convey information effectively.
- Bringing together mainstream media, digital and social media engagements to achieve optimal outcomes for the organisation, connecting the brand and addressing current worker issues.
- Collaborate with other business units to provide guidance, strategic direction and create impactful marketing initiatives.
- Leverage market trends and insights from ground engagement, research and analysis data to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide crisis communication counsel and devise media strategies as required.
Requirements:
- At least 5-6 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in developing compelling narratives and integrated communication campaigns
- Good communication and highly skilled in writing for different audiences, media and channels
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Proven ability to establish rapport and collaborate effectively
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment; open to new ideas and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Analytical, resourceful and results-driven
- Passion to serve in a cause-driven organization
- Experience in communications and media relations work will be an advantage
