Overview:
Join Antina's dynamic team as a Cybersecurity Project Engineer, where the successfully hired candidate will lead cutting-edge cybersecurity projects and ensure robust security operations. This role offers the perfect blend of technical expertise and project management, providing an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the cybersecurity landscape.
The 5G Exploratory Platform (5GEP) will serve as the dedicated testbed for 5G infrastructure. This platform will enable the discovery of vulnerabilities, the testing of network equipment, and to enhance the security and resilience of the 5G ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Lead cybersecurity projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Develop project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, and risk management.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for seamless project execution.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and document all project activities.
- Participate in requirement gathering, testing, training, and implementation phases.
- Meet project SLAs and manage potential risks.
2. Operations:
- Update network configurations, software versions, and procedures.
- Ensure security systems are tested and maintained.
- Assist in obtaining technical support from vendors and track system warranties.
- Implement and manage security measures like firewalls, IAM, SIEM, and SOAR systems.
- Respond to security incidents and provide detailed reports.
- Manage system and user functions, including access rights and maintenance.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- At least 2 years of project management experience.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity operations and project management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
- Proficiency in IT, Networking, VMWare, and security tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, PMP, PCNSA/PCNSE) are a plus.
- Security clearance required.
An ideal candidate would possess the following abilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage project timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and implement security solutions.
- Network Infrastructure Management: Understand networking protocols, configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, routers, and load balancers.
- System Administration: Manage Windows and Linux operating systems, apply hardening techniques, and respond to breaches.
- SIEM: Customize dashboards, alerts, and reports tune SIEM rules.
- Firewall Operations: Set up firewall rules and configurations, understand firewall logging and traffic monitoring.
- IAM: Knowledge of IAM principles and tools, implement multifactor authentication and single sign-on.
- Vulnerability Management: Use tools like Nessus or Qualys for vulnerability scanning, understand MITRE ATT&CK framework.
