Senior Programming Instructor/Teacher

Main Purpose of the Job:

This position requires someone who has managerial, programming and teaching experience.

To foster critical thinking, advance student's knowledge and skills through the teaching of The Lab curriculum. The incumbent is expected to provide an intellectual foundation for students concerning coding/programming. The courses serve students and provide enrichment experiences.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of teaching experience
• Ability to relate to young people
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends (Must be able to work both weekends)
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible in working practices
• Take initiative to implement changes when necessary
• Possesses leadership and teamwork skills
• Posesses sales/customer services work experience
• Possesses a strong command in Computational Thinking
• Possesses strong programming skills (i.e. visual programming, Python, C++)
• Possesses hardware knowledge (i.e. EV3, Raspberry Pi)
• Passionate with teaching and educating the future generation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, need to work on weekends

Salary: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
