To help provide customers with the best Prime Video experience, we are looking for a Senior Programming Strategy Manager to help develop our content programming strategy for the APAC & MENA region. We are looking for candidates with strong project management and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and earn trust with cross-functional teams, and a strong bias for action and passion to do what is right for the customer.
This person will directly collaborate with our Prime Video business and Amazon MGM studio teams to provide actionable feedback on global content and its likelihood to resonate with APAC & MENA audiences, ultimately helping to steer the content decision-making process. With a content-forward background, candidates should have qualitative and quantitative skills to work cross-functionally across internal teams to influence creative and business leaders. A mind for innovation, triangulating trends through customer signals, and learning through testing will make this role successful. A successful candidate will need to balance audience metrics, customer insights, and creative innovation to help delight our customers.
The role requires experience in using customer insights, 1P and market research, and other data to contribute to our regional plan to fulfill our customer's entertainment needs year-round. Working with Amazon MGM Studios, Content Acquisition, Marketing, Finance, PR, and global teams, this role will help influence and optimize our global release calendar within APAC & MENA to ensure we regularly delight customers with new and engaging content. As the role requires a high-velocity of decision-making and getting things going, a self-driven approach is crucial. The Senior Programming Strategy Manager will also contribute to evaluating title performance potential, contributing to global content assessments and greenlight decisions. This is an opportunity to work cross-functionally on a dynamic team in a growing industry, with ample scope for self-development and space to innovate.
