Role & Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for managing the project team to meet or exceed customer contractual requirements for the delivery of the project.
- Develop, update and maintain the project plan and schedule.
- Manage the project scope, monitor project costing and forecasts, and develop/ maintain the project quality plan.
- Responsible for developing and updating the project risk management plan, and project team organization chart planning and performing project communications/reporting.
- Work together with Sales Team to manage project procurement.
- Manage the communications, reporting, and expectations of internal and external project stakeholders.
- Supervising project team members including Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Developers/System Engineers, Testers and Support Engineers.
- Ensure to fulfill specific project scope and responsibilities by working closely with Product Specialists, Technical Subject Matter Experts and System Engineers that support the Project Team
- Involve in pre-sales activities, focusing on the technical solution, effort and timeline estimation and project delivery aspects of the tender/RFP proposal/presentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Must have at least 8 years of working experience as a Project Manager with experience delivering railway communication-related projects such as PA systems, CCTV, Information display systems, and Network infrastructure.
- Good experience in managing LTA railway and Singapore Government projects.
- Knowledge and experience in the following technology areas will be advantageous:
o BIM modelling/Micro-station 3D CAD
o Primavera P6 Scheduling
- Project Management Certifications such as PMP are preferred.
- Excellent inter-personal skills - ability to build good relationship with external customers, vendors and colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, reporting of project and deployment progress and plan.
- A good team player with strong leadership qualities.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, organized and ability to work independently with priorities.
- Ability to work under tight timeline, in a complex customer environment .
