Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Oversight:

  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, execution, and closeout.
  • Supervise and mentor project managers, assistant project managers, and field teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide strategic direction and make key decisions regarding project timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget & Schedule Management:

  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure that projects stay within scope and financial constraints.
  • Prepare and review cost estimates, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Contract & Vendor Management:

  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure the timely procurement of materials and resources to avoid delays.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with contractual obligations, including safety, quality, and schedule.

Risk & Quality Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee quality control measures to ensure that all construction activities meet industry standards and client expectations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance on all job sites.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, project stakeholders, and team members, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and project updates to clients, senior management, and other key stakeholders.
  • Resolve any project-related issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, contract management, and scheduling.

Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and risk management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
