Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all construction activities and progress independently, ensuring timely delivery of the project.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with structural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Lead and supervise structural/architectural works, while effectively coordinating with client representatives and stakeholders.
- Manage and guide a team of workers and subcontractors, ensuring smooth and efficient on-site performance.
- Proactively resolve design and site-related challenges during the construction period.
- Maintain high standards of work quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement detailed work plans, aligning with the project's key objectives and timelines.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, maintaining up-to-date project schedules.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control, safety, and health regulations on-site.
- Participate actively in project meetings, providing insights and updates to stakeholders.
- Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required in line with the Senior Project Manager's scope of work.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the building and construction industry, with 5 years in a leadership position, preferably on LTA or large-scale MRT projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to solve complex design and construction problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
