A specialist research team exists within the company to provide formative research support and to evaluate the progress of multimedia messaging campaigns. The
Senior Research Manager/Associate Research Director will lead and manage the design and delivery of this research, applying quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Responsibilities
The Work:
- Assist with the design and implementation of formative research and evaluation strategies for multiple communications campaigns simultaneously
- Analyse datasets to produce (write) baseline, midline and endline reports, which may vary in depth and scope, according to client requirements
- Provide peer review analysis and lead on analysis process and report structure
- Other research tasks, including but not limited to: open-source research; desk reviews; lessons learned/best practice write ups; etc

- Understanding of the company's culture and business area
- Sense of responsibility to towards the organisation's reputation
Relationships:
- Manage a small team of Analysts and provide regular training and upskilling
- Relationship management with research partners who perform the primary research on behalf of the organisation
- Represent the research team internally, with especial regard to working with the accounts, strategy and production teams

Essential
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum of 5 years relevant research, monitoring and evaluation experience
- Experience evaluating the impact/effectiveness of multimedia communications activity
- Understanding of best practice for conducting research across Asian markets
- A firm interest and understanding of geo-politics and International Relations
- Experience designing logical frameworks (logframes) and assessment strategies
- Experience designing and conducting both quantitative and qualitative research studies is a requirement
- Experience managing research projects from design to report writing
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills (with experience using Q, SPSS, R or Stata)
- Strong report writing and data visualisations skills
- Good communication skills including experience presenting research findings and explaining technical concepts to multiple stakeholders including non-researchers, clients, etc
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Proficient in all components of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Desirable
- Experience with evaluating behavioural change
- Knowledge of Strategic Communications
- Experience with digital and innovative research methods
- Experience using data visualisation software such as tableau
