Senior Resident Engineer (SRE-C&S)

Responsibility:

• To lead and oversee Supervision Team to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Contract and authorities requirements.
• Manage the Supervision Team to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CAG, QP(S), QP(Geo) and/or the project consultants, including planning the roster shift duties based on the work schedules of the contractors and ensure the welfare of the personnel reporting to him are well taken care of. The shift roster shall comply with all relevant Acts and Regulations. In event of any Personnel not turning up for duty, he shall immediately arrange for a qualified and competent replacement.
• Work with the QP(D) / QP(S) / QP(Geo) to resolve all design and technical issues arising from the construction of Temporary Works and Permanent Works.
• Review contractors proposal, method statements, risk assessments and designs, including to assist QP(S) and QP(Geo) in reviewing the
• construction proposals and implement supervision oversight of these construction works carried out by the contractors.
• To provide overview of WSH and aerodrome safety management systems and risk analyses and implementation of safe working practices on site.

Qualification:

• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer, of which at least 6 years on projects similar in size and complexity in particular deep excavation, foundation, cut and cover tunnel works and building works
• Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
