Senior Risk Analyst - Established Securities Firm

Our client is an Established Securities Firm with a large Asian presence. We are currently seeking motivated Senior Risk Analyst to join the Singapore team. This role will cover US Markets and require the candidate to work US hours (Per quarter).

The Senior Risk Analyst will be playing a crucial role in handling all scopes that classify under Risk, covering multi-asset classes across Futures, Equities, Securities, Options.

Key Responsibilities of this Risk Analyst Established Securities Firm:

• Monitoring and computing daily Profit & Loss / Value-at-Risk computations and validations against market movements.
• Preparing daily/monthly risk reporting for the team.
• Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of implementing risk policies.
• Conducting initial credit scoring of new clients, client onboarding etc.
• Creating dashboards utilising PowerBI.

Key Requirements of this Risk Analyst Established Securities Firm:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business or any related discipline.
• Experience: At least 2 - 8 years of in Market Risk Management; prior experience in a securities, or brokerage firm would be a distinct advantage
• Candidate would be required to work US hours when necessary.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, and proficiency in VBA is an added advantage.
