Job Description and Requirements
A postdoctoral senior/ research fellow (scientist) position is available in Tan Yee Joo's lab to work on hepatitis B virus. Candidate is required to work closely with fellow lab members and collaborators in a joint grant.
Requirements:
- PhD in Biomedical Science or related fields
- Highly experienced in common biochemical techniques including PCR, real-time PCR, Western blot and immunofluorescence assays
- Highly experienced in mammalian cell culture methodologies including gene knockout/knockdown, transient and stable transfections
- Experienced in virology is preferred
- Experienced in performing pathway analysis of datasets from proteomics and transcriptomics experiments is preferred
- Experienced in chromatin immunoprecipitation assay is preferred
- Have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Be able to work in a team and conduct independent research with excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
