Supervise the development of the overall casework and counseling framework for residents in the Hostel, including budgeting and expenditure in line with departmental objectives.
Establish sustainable structures and pathways for staff development and progression, in collaboration with the Division Head and Corporate Services.
Ensure staff comprehension and adherence to the overall philosophy, providing supervision and guidance as necessary.
Manage casework and community engagements within the Hostel.
Provide guidance for crisis management and handling complex cases.
Direct interdepartmental and divisional collaboration to facilitate rehabilitation efforts.
Oversee and conduct family interventions when deemed necessary for recommended cases.
Establish networks and liaise with external agencies, fostering relationships with key personnel to aid in the rehabilitation and community reintegration of residents.
Support staff professional development by closely working with the Head of Practice & Service Development and HR.
Achieve departmental goals aligned with Division objectives.
Job Requirements:
Ability to lead and monitor team members, ensuring their competency and training meet evolving roles and responsibilities.
Ensure staff adherence to company policies and standards.
Hold a degree in Social Work with a minimum of 6 years of experience in direct social work practice or similar settings.
Experience in managerial and organizational leadership.
Possess extensive knowledge and experience in social work interventions, social policies, and community engagement.
Familiarity with clinical supervision frameworks and skills.
Knowledge of community resources and government ministries systems (e.g., MSF, MOE, etc.).
