Our client is a global financial markets software provider who have developed a suite of market leading data management software products. These products are used across front, middle and back-office environments within banks, asset managers and hedge funds.
They are looking for Software Developers to join their well established team in Singapore working on R&D projects, new client software implmentations, existing clients software upgrades etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on software development and scripting 70% of the time.
- Working with the Sales and Pre-Sales teams on customer demonstrations of the data solutions products.
- Take care of the design and implementation of the products for the client making sure they configured correctly as per requirements.
- You will leverage your MDM or EDM ( Master Data or Enterprise Data) data software experience with the new implementations and the enhancements.
- You will leverage your software development background and hands-on scripting skills e.g. VBA, SQL, Python.
- Provide training and post implementation support as needed.
Required Experience:
- 5-10+ years of experience
- You will be coming from a software development and/or data solutions background with hands on experience with VBA and / or SQL, Python Scripting
- Ideally some data modelling, ETL tools experience.
- An understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and/or Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
- Software development experience with JAVA, C#.NET, C++, or any other languages will be a big plus
- Be able to conduct business analysis activities, taking requirements, building documentation.
- Some Financial markets industry experience and some understanding of asset classes
- Experience with financial markets data feeds for example, Bloomberg and Refinitiv is preferred.
- You will enjoy working in customer facing role and so will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
