Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer with a minimum of 8 years in software testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing both manual and automated testing on desktop, web-based, and embedded software applications. This role will involve setting up automation test frameworks, creating and maintaining test scripts, and collaborating closely with multi-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual and automated testing for desktop, web-based, and embedded software applications.
- Automation Framework: Set up and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
- Script Development: Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Multi-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, System Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Software/Firmware Development teams to capture requirements and ensure alignment on testing strategies.
- On-Market Support: Provide support for existing product offerings, including fixing and resolving issues.
- New Product Introduction: Participate in the introduction of new products, ensuring thorough testing and validation.
- Requirement Discussions: Engage in requirement discussions and reviews to ensure clarity and completeness.
- Test Planning and Reporting: Develop and review verification test plans and test reports, ensuring thorough documentation and communication of testing outcomes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Participate in regulatory reviews and audits to ensure consistency to industry standards.
- Test Management Tools: Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jama, and HP ALM for test management and defect tracking.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of software testing experience, with expertise in manual and automated testing.
- Successfully completed at least 3 software product development projects
- Proficient in setting up and maintaining automation test frameworks, particularly with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience in creating, executing, and maintaining automation test scripts.
- Knowledge of SQL is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong experience working with multi-functional teams.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jama, and HP ALM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
