AWS is looking for an experienced, technology leader with proven track record in shaping strategic digital transformation for AWS ASEAN's largest Telco and Media Customers This role will be based in Singapore and will cover the ASEAN region.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
- Build Trusted advisor relationship with Chief Data Officer/Chief AI officer or Equivalent, Enterprise Architects, Business users, BI teams and other data stakeholders; understand the customers data landscape; dive deep and understand business stated, unstated needs, issues;
- Working backwards from the customer business and technology needs, build a holistic technology vision and strategy and roadmap for Cloud based Data Analytics and AI Transformation- addressing technology solution, TCO, business impact, data quality, automation, governance and security; Address skills development.
- Serve as Technical lead for major customer engagements and orchestrate AWS specialists/service teams, ISV partners in Data/AI eco-system, consulting and delivery partners;
- Challenge the technical status quo, inspire customer to a bolder technical vision on Data/AI and increase the velocity transformation; Address short, mid and long-term time horizons; Work with customer, AWS leadership and all key stakeholders to create buy-in and joint ownership of transformation strategy and execution plan;
- Develop and deliver customer proposals, presentations, whitepapers, and other content to educate customers, respond to customer RFPs and differentiate AWS/ISV solution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data and AI architecture

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Big data Analytics, AI/ML led transformation, with a focus on large Digital Native and Enterprise customers
- Track record in engaging C-suite technical leadership
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including data warehousing, big data, and data governance-
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms from hyperscalars (AWS/GCP/Azure) and major data ISVs (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Cloudera, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong existing CDO relationships
- End User Practioner experience in ASEAN based Telcos, Retail, Banks, Digital Natives or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in Data Monetisation, Martech platforms
