Senior/ Speech Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assist in speech, language and/or swallowing difficulties following stroke, degenerative neurological diseases
• Assess patients conditions, plan therapy intervention and work towards achieving the therapy goals
• Provide interventions and evaluate therapy progress and outcomes
• Communicate assessment results, intervention plan and outcome measures
• Prescribe assistive devices and equipment according to patients needs
• Empower patients and caregiver by providing education on self-management strategies

Requirements

• Minimum a recognised degree in speech therapy
• Full Registration with AHPC
• Preferably with 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience in pediatric will be ideal
